The Girl and the Bird

Hi everyone!

I got back a couple days ago from visiting Ashland. I took my daughter to visit the Grandparents for the week!

I’ve been hard at work creating new items including prints and new cards. These will be showing up in my shop just as quickly as I can get things photographed. Very exciting.

Tonight I listed the first of these new items:

The Girl and the Bird

I really love how this piece turned out! It’s a digital collage/montage of images: Things I’ve illustrated, images from my watercolor paintings, and vintage images. I like the look on the girl’s face and how the bird is looking back at her.

Home Sick

I’ve been fighting this nasty bug that’s going around for the past week. I thought I had gotten better over the weekend. Then I woke up this morning with a bit of laryngitis and just generally feeling icky. So I decided to stay home and rest.

I finished this new card last night and just now listed it in my shop:

Curious Appendages

Hi Everyone!

Last week I participated in a swap with the lovely miss Vanessa in which I received the most wonderful, versatile, and fashionable tote bag ever. She will soon be receiving a package from me. It has been mailed today even!

I love giraffes! This card not only displays this interesting animal but is also a lovely shade of pink. How could you possibly go wrong?

I’ve had a good response to my “Cuttlefish and Bat” pinback buttons both online and off. So I decided to make another set in this same theme. I call this set “Curious Appendages”

That’s all I have for right now. Allergies are bothering me that I have to squint to read the computer screen. My eyes are so dry and scratchy that I can hear myself blink. That is not a good sign.
